Terms of Use
These Terms explain the rules for using MainCross as a stringer or player.
1. Agreement to these Terms
By creating an account, signing in or using MainCross, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. MainCross's role
MainCross provides software for stringers and players to record racquets, exchange restringing requests, manage jobs and view stringing history. MainCross does not provide racquet stringing services and is not a party to the service arrangement between a player and a stringer.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your email secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Tell MainCross promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
If you are under 18, use MainCross only with the permission and appropriate involvement of a parent or guardian.
4. Stringer and player responsibilities
Stringers are responsible for their prices, service descriptions, workmanship, timing, customer communication and care of racquets in their possession. Players are responsible for reviewing the racquet, string, tension, price and other job information before confirming it and for communicating changes to the stringer.
5. Requests, jobs and status information
MainCross records information supplied by users. A job status is an operational update, not a guarantee of completion or pickup time. Users should contact each other directly if information is incomplete, incorrect or has changed.
MainCross does not currently process payments between players and stringers. Any displayed amount is information supplied by the stringer, and payment arrangements remain between the player and stringer.
6. Cancellations and service disputes
MainCross may allow a player or stringer to cancel a job depending on its current status. Cancellation in MainCross does not resolve fees, damage claims or other disputes between the parties. Players and stringers must resolve those matters directly, subject to their legal rights.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use MainCross to:
- provide false, misleading or unlawful information;
- access another person's account or private records without permission;
- upload malicious code or interfere with the security or availability of the service;
- harass another user or use contact information for unrelated marketing; or
- infringe intellectual property, privacy or other legal rights.
8. Content and images
You keep ownership of information and images you upload. You give MainCross permission to store, process and display that material only as needed to operate the service and provide the features you choose to use. You must have permission to upload the material.
9. Availability and changes
MainCross may change, suspend or discontinue features and may perform maintenance without continuous availability. We will take reasonable care in operating the service but cannot promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Intellectual property
MainCross and its software, branding and original site content belong to the operator of MainCross or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer those rights to users.
11. Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
12. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, MainCross is not responsible for a stringer's services, workmanship, pricing, delays, loss of or damage to a racquet, or a user's inaccurate job information. MainCross is also not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform. This section is subject to the non-excludable rights described above.
13. Suspension and termination
MainCross may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, address misuse or maintain service security. You may stop using MainCross and request account deletion at any time.
14. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Australia. Any dispute relating to these Terms may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction in Australia.
15. Changes to these Terms
MainCross may update these Terms as the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
